Taking a taxi

Today we are going to visit the British Museum.

- Hey, Sue! Hurry up ! It´s almost 11:00pm and the museum has already opened !

- Please, call a taxi. If we take the bus, we will not make it.

- Hello, please I need a taxi at 47 North Baum Street in ten minutes.

- Taxi driver, please we want to go to the British Museum. How far is it from here?

- About half an hour.

- Don´t you know a short cut ?

- Sure I do! But it´s quite near. We go straight Lexington Ave till the end, then 3 blocks ahead we turn right and you will see the Museum at the corner.

- We are happy you are a nice taxidriver for we have an appointment with our classmates and teacher at 11:30am. How long will it take to get there?

- Twenty minutes, I hope.

- How much for the ride?

- 10 pounds.

- Good and we have the right change.

- See, here we are!

- Thank you for being so fast and safe.
