 May is used to express permission. In the present may is used for all the persons. In the past may becomes might, used for all the persons, too. May and might are followed by the infinitive of the verb without to.

 

Exercise: Complete the following sentences with may or might.

2- They _______have watched the game yesterday.

3- _________I go with you?

4- You __________tell me what she said.

5- She said that I _________apply for this job tomorrow.
