Beginners
AT=used to express a specific time of the day or night. IN=used with parts of the day, with months, with seasons and with years. ON=is used with days of the week and with dates that have numerals. BY=followed by a reference to a specific time. BEFORE=means earlier than.
AFTER=means later than.
Exercise: Complete the sentences with the prepositions above: 1- He went to New York_____Tuesday.
2- I asked him to come _____2:00pm.
3- They are going to get married ____May.
4- We hope to go to your house____noon.
5- We´ll see you ____a week.
