 AT=used to express a specific time of the day or night.

IN=used with parts of the day, with months, with seasons and with years.

ON=is used with days of the week and with dates that have numerals.

BY=followed by a reference to a specific time.

BEFORE=means earlier than.
AFTER=means later than.
 

Exercise: Complete the sentences with the prepositions above:
